SportingShooter 0
After discocering the limits of my .222 for Fox shooting the other night, I have been looking into a larger calibre and I am almost certainly settled on a .243. I have looked at several models of Rifle and I would like to know what experiences people have of the Sako 85. I am looking for first hand experience from owners or those who have shot them. SNAP SHOT 194
The sako 85 is an excellent rifle, in either .243 or 6.5x55, very well built and excellent to shoot. Ask me how i know this well two of my friends will shoot nothing but sako's. If money's tight look for the 75 model some are still left. Sako is build quality, that will last, in both the 6.5 and .243 shooting 1/2 inch no problem with reloading. I would however recommend the sako 85 stainless synthetic. you won't be disapointed. alimac 882
got 2 sako 75s, heavy barrel rifles, 22.250 and 243 , cant fault them other than they may be a little on the weighty side if your carrying it a long way for some... top quality Quote Link to post
