andy s410c 63
Had a quick mooch out to the bottom quarry today, arrived mid-morn to very overcast, dark sky so i decided to head to my "perch" in the hay shed as i waited for the deluge to start...Lots of baby rabbits on the way to the shed best be leaving them for the ferts this winter i thought to meself. Arrived at my sniping point over looking the old hay rolls & got meself set up to wait for a long eared friend to appear.5 minutes passed & out of the rolls appeared my first bunny, safety off, trigger pulled & AA Field lead earing hits home Lay on the bale for about a hour nothing else appeared & the rain had held off so i decided to go for a stalk along the quarry walls nothing around of any size .I then went into the quarry & waited for a bunny to appear out of a 13 holer after 20 mins managed to bag a half grown & that was it Judging by the amount of water in the quarry ponds i can,t blame the rabbits for holing up...still the weekends to come yet Quote Link to post
