chrisnbish 0
Hello all, As you will notice i don't usually post on the site I am one of those that likes to see what other folk are up to and enjoy the information passed between fellow field sportsmen. But I think I have couple of lines that warrant an entry so here goes. I currently have a lovely (my opinion) JRT bitch with, who my young son and I, have had a cracking couple of years of early morning sport, rabbit, rat and any other vermin she is quick enought to catch. Not been in a position to see how she would go on something that would have a go back, but she is from good stock (S Wales) and I may get the opportunity before too long. Although I know the purists would frown upon mixing prey I have owned and witnessed a few good dogs over the years who are clever enough to do a good enough job on both. To my point, I am currently depoyed operationally with the Armed Forces somewhere hot and dusty and find myself deployed in a location where we are absolutely teeming with rats. Now I miss my family terribly but would never want them to be here with me! The bitch on the other hand would absolutely love it. Probably struggle with the heat a bit! Like Me! But would no doubt revel in the sport, in the meantime the lads can't seem to understand my passion to want to kill as many of the little buggers as I can. I am currently working on sourcing an Air Rifle for a bit of sport with bait. I know, why an air rifle when i could use something a little more powerful, unfortunately not, i would be liable to get slotted myself if i was mooching about at night making loud noises. Sorrry for indulging myself i thought it was a situation that warranted a mention. I will be back for the beginning of the season and hope to get back out in the lovely Northumbriam countryside for some quality time with my son and dog! Top forum, keep posting, keeps my morale up! chrisnbish 0
Thanks for your kind words Simoman, that's the plan! LB 20008, Yep, out of Jenny and Johnny G's dog. The bitch is called Bish if that's a clue to my name. My brother won't thank me for mentioning his name on here but if you speak to Soapy, he will tell you who we are. Soapy seems to have the knack for it, very selective with his breeding, I'm chuffed with my little dog, would run a couple of his if the 'Long Haired Colonel' would allow! You know the score!!!! Good luck with the pups, the breeding is there!! Chrisnbish Quote Link to post
