Missie 1
Thanks for all the tips everyone. I'm not worried about breeding as they are for my daughter so rescues that are neutered don't bother me, in fact it may make life easier. I've already been told I can have one of the stables for them so thats where they'll go but I need a run inside there as the stable itself isn't secure but its dry and sheltered for them. Thanks again everyone, i'll get everything sorted out over the next few weeks and let you all know how we get on! Link to post

Malt 379
My advice would be to get a pair of castrated hobs. They'll be easer to handle, & won't need taking out of season. Link to post
para1 11
ps dont put 2 hobs together as they will fight unless i think they are brothers or have grown up together but not %100 sure Thats not true atall you are going by gossip, you can keep two hobs together fine be brother or stranger, trust me i had 4 hobs at one stage all not related! Not threw the breeding season you didn't Link to post
Guest jojoamojo
We have a business of 8 hobs, 7 are castrated and one is vasectomised, all live happily together all year round, not a spot of bother Link to post

Whats the point in flicking a ferrets nose with your fingers which are attached to a hand if you want the animal to not fear hands , the most obvious part off the body you pick them up with, there are biters & none biters if you have a ferret who bites look at its behavior , observe why its biting Would you feel pretty sad if you discovered you punnished a ferret for being in pain for example , they bite for a whole lot off reasons & not just because there mean Link to post
