Laptop help...

Recommended Posts

My laptop arrived today which is great but i'm having one or two teething problems and never having had one before i'm a bit stuck...

When typing the cursor has a mind of its own, it will highlight and delete what i've typed and go back to the middle of a sentance and start typing from there so I end up with something that makes no sense...

Any ideas..?

Thanks in advance!

Its an Acer Aspire 5315.

The mousepad is in front of the keyboard yes but i've deliberately typed without touching it or leaning on the buttons as I wondered if that was the problem but it still does it and its bloody annoying!

probably being caused by static..............try covering the mouse pad with a small piece of cloth or somthing to see if that cures it.................if it does try cleaning the mouse pad with some anti-static cleaner.

sorry thats the only thing i can think of............................frustrating!!!!!...............i'll say!!

good luck
