Leather Collar - New Hole ?

Found out old dogs leather collar and want to use it for our bull terrier.

Much better than the cheap piece of shit she wears at the moment

Thing is its a bit big and could do with another hole, the leathers real thick so how do i do it ?

Would a drill be alright ?

Don't see why not, mark where you want the hole, put the collar on a piece of wood and drill it, make sure the drill bit is the same size as the other holes on the collar, well approximately any way.

I did my dogs collar with a Bradel, lasted over 12yrs so should be ok.

The pin is quite big so a bradel wouldnt work i dont think.

Just wanted to make sure though as last time i drilled a hole on strongstuffs harness he told me i'd f****d it.

I had one before. Not sure it'd be any good with this collar, too thick.

Try a metal center punch have done the job for me in the past.

the hotter the better edges of the hole are then sealed by the heat remember do it outside
