davyt63 1,845
hi went to business park last night got there booked in went straight for the kill parked up stalked about 15 yards THWACK first of the evening young one, security guard wasn't pleased to see me hence his lottery numbers. so went down to where the sub box is . taking my time walking slowly forgot we had a few high winds couple of nights before got to my position stepped forward full foot not on side hence forgot about high winds CRACK fooking twigs . about 5 quarry scarpered put me lamp on nothing i could imagine those bunnies :ha ha: . so went up to the top had a walk round nothing ,looked in to the horse paddock which is adjacent to the b park which is also my permission saw 5 or 6 bunnies running for the hedge line as soon as i put the lamp on. no luck there now i no this paddock well if i would have stayed there i would have bin waiting at least 1 hour or 2. so by this time frustration had got the better of me ,so went back to the sub box . been a couple of hours parked the car up behind the hill walked in the shadow of the tree line by the refuse compound about 15 yards as you no lads the foliage is ripe now so plenty of cover. got myself under a tree which i must say was blossoming lovely purple colour branches hanging almost 3 foot of the ground loads of cover so turned me lamp on there they were THWACK ,35 yards paced back to point . as i was coming back seen another run under the tree line and just stopped so down in the prone position wrapped sling round me arm as you do solid as good as a bi pod elbow on me knee. see it moving in the tree line for some reason ,i tink they tink you cant see them the lamp is on the spot it went through i can see a glimpse of its eye . so pulled the lamp away then back on in minutes it had moved nice clear shot . I'm on me belly focused cross hairs on the spot THWACK i thought it had got away, as i saw it move after shot and i thought i pricked it . so had a good look round after about 5 Min's there it be ,stone cold and i thought to my self what a great shot, to end a good evening ,well morning by this time so here is a pic now, these pics are with me new digital camcorder , which i hastened to ad has night vision on it but its crap . because i forgot me digital camera.
