bobafet 30 Posted May 21, 2008 Report Share Posted May 21, 2008 my lurcher dog ruptured his achilies tendon when out lamping in november 1850 pound later vet said he could be let of the lead , ok first few times out no hunting just a run about made asharpe turn and pulled leg up, looks like its dropped again but vet says wait 2 weeks to see how he goes, has anyone had any experience of this injury im gutted Quote Link to post

desertdog 149 Posted May 22, 2008 Report Share Posted May 22, 2008 im pretty well gutted,bobafets me co lamper and his dog was spot on, and flying.we,ve had some quality hunting what ever decision is made, he will be missed and i think he may be a hard act to follow,but then we all risk our dogs, you never know what will happen when your out. all the best with your pup, desertdog.
