Scope Mounts on Sako Quad

anyone know which scope mounts to use on the sako quad , i dont want to end up fitting a scope and then not being able to remove the barrel. the objective lens of the scope is 32mm

this is what a lad off a other site told me mate for you :thumbs:

 

If you use high mounts and a 40mm objective you will probably be OK. then he went on to say he is just in the process of buying a Quad and have bought some Sportsmatch Weaver Adaptors and a set of QD Leupolds from the states for $60 posted. You can then remove and refit the scope with no loss of zero and use whatever scope you want. Adaptors were £22 or so from Michael Tawn.

 

this will be more mate but better as you could use what scope you wanted then

so what exaclty is the fitment on to the quad , id like to get it bought tonight then i have no more worries but i want to get the right thing , just keep it simple though a straight fitment no adaptors

get high mounts then mate that why you no you have some room to get the barrel off. i would still phone a good gunshop to make sure. as rimfire magic or look on sako website just to be sure. the only problem with high mounts are when your face sits on the stock the scope mite be abit high up.
