NETTLE SOUP. -pick the nettle tips about an inch down, a good saucepan full, because they reduce, steam, or lightly boil, pinch of sea salt, chop and light fry onion and garlic, 1/2 pint of veg stock, steam or boil about a pound of new spud, and chop them in half, add half of nettle juice to veg stock, add cornflour to thicken, put in nettles,garlic and onions, simmer for 5 mins, add spuds, get some fresh chives, chop up, put on top of served soup, and get some hot bread with butter, wash down with a pint of badger ale, enjoy.

see i do mine a bit different, nettels, bit of chicken stock, onion , clove garlic, ground black pepper, bit of salt, and a bit of cooked rice.

fry the onion and garlic in a bit of butter till soft, then add the stock, put nettels in and let it simmer till all has sofened, then i put three table spoons of rice in mine to thicken it then a bit of ground black pepper, then i give it a blast with the electric mixer, and its done.

I'V never had it myself, but i have seen how its made on tv, dosnt look the best to begin with but it looks nice when its set out to eat.
