desertdog 149
nettle soup aint bad, add some spuds and onion, few chives, and a bit of garlic, i only pick the tips, otherwise its too stringy, rich in iron, and good with half grown bunny, good for pups.

desertdog 149
NETTLE SOUP. -pick the nettle tips about an inch down, a good saucepan full, because they reduce, steam, or lightly boil, pinch of sea salt, chop and light fry onion and garlic, 1/2 pint of veg stock, steam or boil about a pound of new spud, and chop them in half, add half of nettle juice to veg stock, add cornflour to thicken, put in nettles, garlic and onions, simmer for 5 mins, add spuds, get some fresh chives, chop up, put on top of served soup, and get some hot bread with butter, wash down with a pint of badger ale, enjoy.
