Rolfe 2 Posted May 14, 2008 Report Share Posted May 14, 2008 Here's some pictures from today.........once the flowers drop and the seed pods form........it is sprayed with a type of dessicant to kill it off and then it is harvested. It is also sometimes cut and left to lay in swathes to dry out naturally but there is a high loss of yield with this method as the pods tend to open and scatter the seed.
