MissPimperella 0 Posted May 25, 2008 Report Share Posted May 25, 2008 Don't laugh cos it's true but I've fixed a broken budgie beak by gluing a lady's (I would'nt waste one of mine) false fingernail onto the broken stump and trimming it to shape.Lasted until the beak re-grew. Cool Idea! We have 2 ex batts whos beaks are growing back slowly. One good way of balancing the hens arguments is to get a cockeral. Our laying flock currently has 11 hens and they are watched over by our Polish Cockeral 'Spider' he stops any arguements and tends to his girls. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
Tiff 36 Posted May 27, 2008 Report Share Posted May 27, 2008 mowed the yard yesterday so the foul were all run about a bit, this morning that same Cayuga had laid a tiny egg again.
