chester 147 Posted May 10, 2008 Report Share Posted May 10, 2008 was out with the dog's yesterday and a rabbit passed in front of us and went through a hedge and my pup went strait over followed by taz which is a new one to me as they have never done this before. how many of you have seen dogs do this when occasion arises?most dogs i have saw tryed to go through or run along till a gap then go through. chester Quote Link to post

Rolfe 2 Posted May 10, 2008 Report Share Posted May 10, 2008 My lurcher bitch is an absolute natural for jumping hedges........she once cleared a similar hedge much to the amusement of STORK off the THL............he's 6 ft 5 ins and she cleared him and the hedge as well Haven't got a picture of that particular jump........but here's one of her clearing some railings. Any one got any good tips for taking pictures of dogs jumping?........my digi-camera has a 2 second delay and i always miss the shot Quote Link to post

whin 463 Posted May 13, 2008 Report Share Posted May 13, 2008 had a few good dogs who jumped up to 6 foot deer fences on roe etc and hedges but had smaller dogs who tried to go through all in all if you want a good jumper train him young ,but if you lamp etc expect vets bills until the dog learns whats what , Quote Link to post
