Got up early for some reason as I was planning a lie in after a hard weeks work .so I let the dogs out got the coffee on, usually with it being the weekend I would have gone back to bed as partner and kids still fast asleep.

I then had what I thought at the time a silly idea to take the dogs out alone the dog walking is usually done by the family members as they go out on a night hunting and they have more time for dog walking, with being a woman I have to plan my dog walking time and it turns into a family outing. But off I went three dogs in hand the dogs were egar to be off and pulling like hell, but as we got going and got down the lane I got a lovely surprise the dogs were walking calmly the birds were singing and the peace and quiet was amazing. To some off you this will be an every day thing and you may think I have gone mad. But I just wanted to know if there is anybody like me who forgets what its like to make a little time for the simple things in life and enjoy them instead off being all rush and work. O n my return everyone was up and wondering were there breakfast was and with a excited voice I said you really missed something good this morning and when I told them about my walk they looked at me like I had gone mad and said we do that all the time BUT yes was my reply but did

you appreciate it

I had a recent similar experience over a few early mornings. I was after a particularly crafty old fox and I tried to catch him out early morning. I was out and about by 4:30 and even though I saw no sight of the fox, every morning was a pleasure. Over the three mornings I heard the dawn chorus, which on this piece of ground is absolutely spectacular, the amount of species on the ground made it very special and extremely vocal. I loved every minute of it.

I had no dogs or any other interruptions, me, my gun on my lap and the approaching dawn.

Regards

SS
