Guest Ditch_Shitter
Geocities is a f*ck. Fine if it just sits there for ever. Split second anyone actually Looks at it? It blows its bandwidth and shuts down. Use only for something to amuse yeself in building. Crap. I own my own web space and domain name. (I'm a .com ! ) Costs me less than 25 quid a year and I have more space than I'll ever know what to do with. Built it with Front Page. Got it in place with a little help from a friend. About as easy as Geo's, only it's always there when I check it What's that other free one out there? Braveheart? Something like that. They're so tinny and pop up ridden. I'd sooner just spend a few quid and do it properly.
IanB 0
Free websites are pants ... I'll tell you what is ten times better than them offerings your free space you get with your ISP normally 50MB or something web space... Only good for basic html pages though, but if thats all you want? FishFish your mates plastered flash all over them sites, web designers hate flash, its not search engine friendly and 9/10 times it looks tacky...
