i say fair play to these dogs and the comments were more sickening than the event itself, i reckon the poor women did well and the dogs wont forget it in a hurry and it was on home turf, they will heal ok, ive seen a lot worse injury on our terriers after working charlie.

I nearly joined the forum just so I could comment - that stupid Kelliope biatch wants a slap. If a coyote comes into your yard more than once with no real reason, ie food/rubbish left out, it's definately got problems and wants dealing with quick smart. Especially since they've got rabies over there.

Kudos to those dogs - I'd of let mine rip the fekker to shreds if I didn't have a gun handy. We had coyotes in the city where I lived, they were a proper nuisance.

no point joining in now. the mods are real testy about this sorta thing. you'll notice the debate is over 12 pages long and covers all subjects... including the native americans being abused by the wicked evil white man...... no one liked what i had to say.. which is when the mods stepped in......

the thing that irked me most was people(dog experts) saying the dogs WERENT protecting their master but acting like typical pit bulls with a healthy prey drive..... maybe so but i agree this coyote needed dealing with. i say he was there because he smelled "fresh meat" but didnt count on it being two pit bulls.

also the kelliope girl left the forum as a result of this lol

If any animal attacked me and my dogs didnt protect me I would have them put down tbh.

i would be thoroughly upset about mine if they let me down.... i know my bulldog bitch would protect, but not so sure about her "boyfriend"...... and the other two dogs... not much a jack russell could do against a coyote but the shepherd pupe is already trying to defend us from evil rabbits and cats and the occasional stray piece of pop corn :whistling:
