Brookes Trigger kit

Recommended Posts

I have not long done the same on my .17HMR and what a difference, it seems to make the longer shots an awful lot easier.

Which tube did you put in?

And as for the price, the first 100+ yard crow that was shot with it cancelled out the cost straight away.

Put the purple tube and 1.00 lb spring in the .22 and used the green tube and 1.50 lb spring in the hmr.

iv done my 22 and hmr...it transformed the rifles......if you are fitting these kits especially when using the lighter springs be sure to cock the rifle (un loaded) and drop it from 6 inches on the butt of the stock..if it fires you need to use the next harder spring in the kit....its very important to perform the bump test on a hunting rifle.....sure everyone knows this...sorry to drone on :doh::doh:

Fitted the Brookey kit to my Ceasar 452 .22 rimmy. When new it had an absolutely unbelievable amount of creep in the trigger - you wondered exactly when it was actually going to break! Accuracy was poor.

Tried 1 tube and a lighter spring - made quite a bit of difference, but not as much as I wanted. So changed for another, and now it's superb - the trigger is almost as good as my Tikka .243 deer rifle, and that breaks like glass after being set up by a very good gunsmith!!

Accuracy of the Ceaser is now awesome for a rifle costing less than £250 out of the box, as many rabbits and foxes have found!

As above, give it a good drop test before taking it out in the field.
