new lurcher needed

my old whip /grey cross is getting on a bit now and i need a new pup to bring on over the next twelve months.

would a collie/ greyhound cross make a good all rounder for hunting. or would a bull x be a better choice.

its only my second lurcher to be so how do i know if i made the right choice

i would go for a bullxgrey x collie grey if you can get one,we ve one here great dog

im not green as far as lurchers go, and some of the best ive seen myselfe have came from the hancock kennels.

but is there better out there, and where do you get them from.

rabbit and the odd acidental fox is all its needed for. so where do i start

why is it always the same ....dont get a collie x grey and for feck sake dont get one off hancock!!!!!.....ah ok then have you owned one????.....well no iv never owned one but everyone else that hasnt owned one says there shite!!!!.......it always make me laugh......i know of a good few hancock dogs and there all sound and doing the business....collie x grey are fine all round dogs and will do all quary....just because there out of fashion this year dont make them shite... some good advise......get a suluki x if you want to run somthing to death!!! get a collie x if you want to get out there and do it!!! and get a bull x if you want to be cool on the forum...

id get a collie grey etc and the old topic springs again mine has hancock in it and he is a cracker my first lurcher and wouldnt rush out to find another he works well for me.and dog you choose should be the right one for you not somone elses opinion
