Whats with the bull cross and youngsters these days? I like the breed but at the mo it seems like its the in thing to have, something that makes you look hard. Whats wrong with a collie x or a beddy whippet and starting off on the bunnies. Its a shame the way things are going, we have all seen you tube or the bebo sites where foxes suffer in the hand of in experanced kids who think its funny to watch a charlie dieing slowly. Whats the script?

I really must get to see one of these paragons of canine virtues because in all honesty the examples i have seen have been shite.!!!!! Far to slow, no wind, turn like the Qe2 and as for hares forget it. Thats my experience of them anyway, but i live in hope of actually seeing one of these good ones i keep hearing about. However i won,t hold my breath as the saying goes.

i think its half crosses that people either love or hate.both my dogs are quarter bull and they're both fast and agile. personally,i won't ever have a half cross again, nothing personal, just not the dogs for me!horse for courses and i dont think the majority of half crosses are genuine all rounders. but i see why some people are in love with them!lol

i was the first in my area to breed bull xs and at the time i ofered all the lads that hunt round me one of them as i wanted to follow their progress,my best mate picked one at the time but the rest all went like hot cakes but not locally :wallbash: anyway the following year pups were tried and all bar one that went to southern ireland (lost touch)worked like trains.all the lads who said when i bred them they would be shite now have bull crosses.the pup my mate took is a genuine allrounder.yes there is shit gettin bred but if you go to adog you know lined to a bitch you know ill bet you will run bull bred stuff afterwards :gunsmilie::gunsmilie::gunsmilie:
