Gasing moles

Hi

can anyone tell me if it is illegal to gas moles using a 2 stroke engine, same as you'd use for bolting rats ??

We used to use the old X300 parafin flame thrower on rats holes. Those that didn't want to face the dogs stayed down there...

 

We have a gas flame thrower now... havn't used it though.

if you can do it for rats then you should be able to do it for moles

would consider for mole control, as for the

legality, i'm not 100 per cent sure.

 

Now a smoker for rats, and a pack of terriers

that can yield good control, and is great sport.

Yeah I use a smoker for rats, with my beddy. Iknow of people who have used this method for a long time. Why wouldn't you use this method, I can't see a problem. Just asking out of curiosity.

Carbon Monoxide is not an approved method for controlling moles or rats. You can bolt rats with it to terriers quite legally. However, if you were to back fill holes while smoking out with the intension of gassing the rats that wont shift, that would be an offence.
