wildfinder 0 Posted March 31, 2008 Report Share Posted March 31, 2008 was wondering has anybody got decent dogs on here? or has everybody got dogs that kill everything that lifts in front of them?6 out of 6 harekiller happens every tuesday.10 out of 10 foxkiller most mondays.i've either bought the wrong dog or the mushrooms are stronger than i thought.my dog can't live with the dogs on here,any suggestions?lol yeh there is plenty of experts on here only thing is they spend more time on here than out in the field so you make your mind up on that one mate the six out of six dogs our owned by people but i would be very suprised if there is so many people on here with them i might be wrong but fair law 100 yd slips six out of six anyone ever watched the forley cup ect not many of them dogs where doing it regular and they are about as good as you can get dont believe the hype mate no one has got anything any better than anyone else in certain situations you seem quite expert yourself bull. woz 260 Posted April 1, 2008 Report Share Posted April 1, 2008 sinse iv been on this site i have always tried my best to post as close to the truth as possible...i have two lurchers that i work....they are half brothers and as differant as chalk and cheese.it seems you get very little respect for honesty hear....if you post that your dog ran eight rabbits in a night and you caught five it has very few veiws and even less people post a response....which really is a shame..there are some decent dog men on hear but they tend to stay in the shadows and say little.one man that has some very decent dogs put a challenge up that he would be happy to run his dogs against anyone who was willing to take up the challenge...i beleve he was challenged and the posts that reported on the outing's went on and on and turned into a slanging match running into 100+ posts of utter sh*te really...considering we are all on hear because of our passion (anti's excluded)and interest for all aspects of field sports it really is a poor situation..the hunting life forum is by far the best format i have found on the net...if everyone is honest and reports the truth surely the forum will benifit....come on people if you go ferreting and get six rabbits on a sunday morning or shoot and get a few rabbits lets hear about it...for people coming into the forum and getting there information then buying a dog/ferrets etc and not getting ten foxes six hares and thirty six rabbit on an evening they think theyve got a crap dog......we make this forum what it is......surely we need the moderators to get a little more hardcore and delete/warm and boot off the idiots and messers that are killing the forum???? perhaps its to late already??? all it will take is for ian b to say fu*k it and its gone........ BIRD bang on nice to hear a bit of sence how good a dog is has a lot to do with how much game it see's but if you dog gets you out & gives enjoyment then happy days its all this 3 out of 3, 20 rabbits a night shit that has the shelters full of lurchers theyall think they've got a duckegg instead of a golden egg & get shut just keep gtting out & enjoy it ATB Pritch thank you i love to see dogs work and do what thay where bread for (gun dogs , sheep dogs whatever ) ive got 5 lurchers 3 of them rescues i joined this forum to lurn a bit more up to now most of what ive seen is **** I do enjoy seeing my dogs run thats whot thay do best Quote Link to post

There are definitely people on here that do not post just because they feel that they must be taking huge bags every night or they are somewhat lesser dog men/women,but,please do post as 'The Sport' is what it should be all about.....Getting out there and having a go!
