luketurner 0
Would like to know any views from people that own either of the above scopes? Have heard a lot of good things said about the Bushnells, not heard much about the Viper. Scope is for my .17hmr for bunnies. Seen the Bushnell in this country for £325 and the Viper for about £225. Big difference in quality? Thanks Luke Quote Link to post
Mr_Logic 5
GET THE BUSHNELL I do mean to shout. I have an MTC and it's OK, but the Bushnell will destroy it in every way. Quote Link to post
Guest JohnGalway
Never looked through a Bushnell. Have a Viper 4-16x50 on my .22lr. Fine for day and lamp shooting, wouldn't take it with me for dawn or dusk shooting though, Quote Link to post

Big difference in quality? Thanks Luke if your going to spend that money on the bushnell dont get the 6x24x40 get the 6x24x50 with side px you can get them for £300 mate if not you could get one from the usa for that. a lot of people have been bring them back lately. some people i no dont like them as the field of view isnt very big on them. but i dont mind that all i no is the optics are super clear, the build is great, mine has target turrets on it so i could dial in if i didnt want to use mildots. and they hold zero which is what you want ! ive put mine on my hmr and ive never had to adjust the zero on it. they are hard to find in shops here the 6x24x50 are and if you do they are anywhere from £550 to £600 pound ! i wouldnt pay that for them new. dont get me wrong there very good and mine are on par with some leupold scopes ive looked though. but if i was spending £600 i would add abit more or get a second hand s&b or swaro scope as soon as i get my 22/250 i will use the bushnell on there and do a write up on here to see what i think of it on 22/250 centrefire. then i will let you no. but if you want it just for hmr then get one you wont be sorry. or get a secondhand mtc there about all the time. and are super for the money i think. they wont compare to the bushnell after all its twice as dear as the mtc new ! ive got two mtc's a 3x12x44 which i use on fac air. and a 4x16x50 which i use on 22lr. ive found them very clear for the money, good build, hold zero, and good under the lamp to. ive had a good amount of rabbits with the 22lr and have found the scope great in the lamp light. i also find the xmas tree crosshairs system great for different ranges over my 60 yard zero. ive never tryed the system on the hmr but im sure it will work out good on that. gary c and sammy who own mtc are smashing people to. ive dealed with them and there customer care is the best ive seen. if only someother people and gun places where like they where.
