Roasting or planting?

Recommended Posts

What's your bag then? You know when the time comes as it does to us all, don't know if I fancy being shoved in a box in a hole in the ground :whistling::laugh:

As for a roasting, well I wouldn't mind that if it could be done like the Indians (as in Cowboys & Indians  don't like turban stuff  ) used to do it  , pile of wood on our land and just go for it.................now that does press the right buttons :toast:

The thing at the Crem?, well that is just conveyor belt stuff and when folk take their loved ones ashes home (Readybrek for cannibals........just add milk or water  ), how the hell do they know who's in the pot?:drink:

I've been round the back of a crem, the one I saw had about 6 chambers/furnaces, each had a little glass window. After the service in the chapel, when the coffin dissapears through the curtain, it will be loaded into a numbered furnace, when they start burning the body sits up :icon_eek: , when it's finished they just scrape the ashes into a pot with steel balls that revolves around at speed and all the ash/churks are broken down into a fine powder, then it's into the urn and Bob's your Fathers brother, (dead of course) :)
