Rolfe 2
I am having great success now the ferreting season is effectively over, using cage traps in clients gardens to remove entire families of rabbits. The youngsters are easy to catch and there natural inquisitiveness often means they will enter the cages without the added attraction of a food source. Just this week i had a doe and 3 kits in the same cage. My question to fellow full-time pesters out there is.......What methods do you use to remove rabbits from domestic garden situations if ferreting is not an option? Your thoughts would be most welcome. Quote Link to post
TOMO 29,294
DEPENDS ON THE JOB , IF ITS A GOOD DISTANCE , I OFTEN CANT BE ARSED REMOVING THEM FROM TRAPS . SO ITS MOSTLY FERRETING , JUST TAKE THE DOG TO CATCH THE COCKERS THAT GO THROUGH NETS. I WILL ALSO USE FENS , OR AMBUSH WITH THE AIR RIFLE AT DAWN. ONE JOB LAST YEAR I WAS ABLE TO SIT IN THE SUMMER HOUSE OF A BIG GARDEN AND SHOOT THEM OUT THE WIDOW. VERY RELAXING IN BIG GARDENS I OFTEN PUT LONG NETS ROUND SHRUBERY THEN WALK THROUGH Quote Link to post
