woz 260 Posted March 11, 2008 Report Share Posted March 11, 2008 i used to use factory winchester 55g soft points..had a few run 20 yards or so before they dropped...i now use 40g v max which do a brilliant job..dead flat shot out to 270 yards if zeroed an inch high at 100..i havnt tried all that many loads for my 223 found the 40g v max and stuck with them.....
