bigbird 7
Still a fair amount of Ward blood in Durham area he was very prevelent in the eightys he was pally with one of my cousins used to see him and his good wife at the summer shows a lot back then if you grab a copy of the fell terrier by plummer youll find a few photos of dogs of that genre .They were good lookers no doubt mousie, churchy and tbag prob have a lot of ward blood with a heady mix of brightmoor and middleton .They were fiery feckers of that i know as minty had dogs of this line and i worked them till my early 20s. antg 1,816
thanks for the info bigbird, my dads got family up durham way, that would be the connection. sam is you dad not Graham Ward from near Consett in county durham? the one im on about is and thats the fella that bred the reds up here . he did show his terriers but also worked them. there was loads of lads had his terriers up here as someone said mousey, tbag had lots of his line. i know a few lads that used to dig with him years ago and they used to do quite allot of rescues for the durham terrier club when j winch called them.
