Just wondering if anyone has a first cross whippet saluki, or known of any ?

 

Seems a hand cross for my sort of ground, as I'm planning a new dog in a year or so, so just thinking about stuff.

 

Also wonder if anyone owns and runs a KC saluki, or knows of anyone who does ?

Yes i own one 21inch 30lbs 18months old caught over 100 daytime rabbits ,well impressed with her. will post pics at later date when i get some. BWRA whippet cross saluki

Mine's not a totally straight saluki/whippet (carries a bit of bed by looks of the dam) but in size looks and temperament she might as well be.Very( sometimes too) affectionate,fast and obedient.Was a bit tricky to obedience train as she seemed to think being made to obey was the same as being told off. Trick turned out to be to wind her up with some fun jumping and lure-work in between the boring recalls and retrieves +finish every training session with wild game.Only 2 an a bit but I 'm happier with her every day.
