I've got a waistcoat made from moles skins :yes:

 

Ye want Scottish caught moles though. Thicker furred. My ones were Aberdeenshire moles.

bullshit , you want winter clears for a waiscoat from any part of the country

If you can find a plummer who still joins lead pipes, they will give good money for mole skins. They use them to clean the joints.

 

Veniards sell them on for fly tying.

 

I take you mean E.Veniard mate .They still going? .I had an account with them years ago with the jays wings ,jackdaw grey napes,squirrel tails etc ,but they stopped sending me the catalogue.

I'm not sure if its worth it though, the money aint great.

 

As far as I know, they still buy magpie wings etc.

Think Veinards pay about 40p a skin .They put em in a plastic bag and sell them as body -dubbing to fly -tiers for nigh on a couple of quid !.Jolly expensive plastic bag.
