COMPO 54
Sadly it seems that my season has fizzled out the song the animals came in 2 by 2 seems appropriate 2 rabbits yesterday and 2 today Do you all remember me posting this article? Well after i contacted the appropriate town council they invited me over to finish the job the others had messed up arrived there this morning and met the allotment site manager, an old italian bloke called vince, who also used to keep ferrets, apparently the previous rabbit catchers hadn't used ferrets, they had come up with a dog and a gun, walked round , shot 1 rabbit and then the moaning anti turned up and they wimped out and fecked off :laughbounce2: anyway i ferreted this bramble patch and caught two rabbits Then Vince wanted to tag along and after ferreting all the other warrens and sheds in the allotments, i didn't find any more rabbits, i told vince he was obviously a bad omen although he did know how to set nets, he admitted he had snared a few bunnies coming into the allotments anyway i contacted the town council employee who had invited me up and she was happy that teh allotments were empty now, Vince has put a rabbit net fence up around the perimeter, so they hope that the allotments will stay relatively rabbit free this growing season, i have made them aware (vince already knew) that the rabbits will find their way back in, and i will be invited back next season if/when they gain entry Anyway i left just after lunch, having further cemented relations by giving Vince a rabbit and the other rabbit to a lady allotment holder who showed an interest, i didn't come home empty handed i have a carrier bag of root vegetable Quote Link to post
