Kay 3,709
Well if you do some reading up first as you have got a book, aslo look on the forum for ideas of housing etc & then when you have had a good look you can start to think about getting the stuff together Quote Link to post
Guest Ditch_Shitter
Also if anyone has anygood tips that would be great. I have a couple of tips for ye, mate. First one is suss out where those books were written from. Find any are of American origin? Sling them on the fire and try to forget Anything ye read in them. Another tip? A properly fed and housed ferret doesn't need Anything adding nor Anything taking away. Period. Quote Link to post
stubby 175
hi ya ollie, good on you for doing this the right way round, too many people get the ferret, and then start asking, most normal pet shops/e bay etc will supply most of the stuff you need for the care of your ferret/s try to get a pair rather than a single one, as they like the company of their own a large a hutch as possible, woodshavings, hay or straw for the sleeping compartment water bottle and feeding dish you'll get a lot of fors and against dry ferret food, I always keep a bag in the shed for emergancy, like if I forget to take a rabbit out of the freezer as for your ferreting supplies, start off with minamal outlay, a ferret box/carrier, a spade, a collar and locator if you can afford it, as theres nothing worst than not being able to find a ferret, that you class as a pet, as well as a worker and some purse nets, the rest you'll get together as time goes on pm me your address and Ill send you a few purse nets, as I tend to use my longnets mostly know the asking bit first has impressed me Quote Link to post
