The beam is too low, even on maximum elevation. Deben said to shim it, and with the aid of an upturned Weaver mount and a guitar plectrum, it now points straight. I get the impression this is going to be a serious pain in the ass though, so how common is this? Deben said it might be faulty, but I don't want to send it in because I don't want to be without it. I could take it back to the shop too, as it's reasonably new, but I don't want to make a fuss over nothing... Quote Link to post
