slip 1
If I've got it right, my pup's dam was "beddie/grey x beardie grey back to saluki/grey" and sire is 1/4 bull 3/4 grey. What the fook does "back to" mean I find the whole thing really confusing, but then I'm numerically dyslexic so it's no surprise that I just nod and smile like I've got a clue what folks are saying the way dam was crossed was beddy/grey x berdie grey back to suluki/grey so the dams mother was first cross beddy/grey and the sire of the dam was 3/4 lurcher beardie/grey/suliki so the mother of your dog is 3/4 grey 1/4 beddy 1/4beardie 1/4suluki so the only thing she was crossed back to was greyhound 3 times now to the sire 1/4 bull 3/4 greyhound so the sires mother was 1/2 bull 1/2 grey back to grey and the sire was full grey!!so that gives you your dog dam beddy/grey/berdie/grey/suluki/grey and sire is 1/4 bull 3/4grey so the only thing your dog is crossed back to is grey 4 times This is where I nod and smile .... crossing back to means back to the same bread more then once for instense first cross colie grey back to grey main dogs for breeding back to is the sight hounds whippet grey and suluki or deer hound the rest will just b percentages like bull wheaton colie etc this will all 1/4 or 1/2 first cross ya with me ya rearly ever hear of a chap breeding a grey hound wwheaton back to wheaton always back to the sight hound Quote Link to post
