Wolfdog91 7,901 Posted Wednesday at 19:41 Report Share Posted Wednesday at 19:41 So decided to get our first electric net just to play with with our chickens right...don't help someone huge pig is walking around and has been trying to mess with he birds.... makes me happy out dogs free run because they chase him off Everytime .Well set it up just to see what it would look like as a set up and got busy with some other stuff ...so it's just set up half way with no power to it . Well come out to feed the dogs and my little pitbull Weiner dog or whatever he is, mix comes trotting up with a chunk of it around his neck..... excuse me I said ? And ... yeah Didn't wanna just toss $150 so looked at it and figured it should be about like any other net out there as far as patching ...just with wire infused line. So went down to the co-op and picked up a roll of this stuff for $24.69 Had to dig my needles out because it's been forever and a day since I made a net of any type but found some loaded them up and work on making a patch Then went can't cut the tear out nice clean and square And the patch Aannnndd just sewed it in Ended up being two holes so tow patches but not too bad . Made sure to make contact with all the wire of the original I could see so we'll see when the solar charger is ready
jukel123 9,651 Posted Wednesday at 21:14 Report Share Posted Wednesday at 21:14 Sewing patches and repairing nets is harder than knitting them. You have to think a bit when repairing.
