have to rant

Recommended Posts

i am sooooo sick of reading the stupid comments in youtube. i like to watch the hunting vids you guys post and even though i know better i cant help but see some of the anti comments....

like some in the moose charge video.. "wish he would have gored you" "how can you kill such a beautiful animal" and such things :wallbash:

its the naivety that kills me! i KNOW these people must live in the heart of some thriving metropolis and eat soy burgers and and salads and have never set foot on REAL dirt and never once had to work for their food a day in their pathetic little lives!!

i swear if the world did go to hell in a hand basket the only ones to suffer would be the people in the cities who have such a distorted view of life and their place in it! nature doesnt give a shit about us and how we "love" it..... they've been in the city too long and forgot their place in this world.

its obvious who is prey and who is predator when you read those comments.

rant over.... grrr!!!! :censored:

Most people see animals in the Walt Disney way, big eyes, cute and hard done by!

The amount of arguments i've had with friends etc who don't agree with me going hunting is unreal. Most of my friends now just accept what I do if they don't agree and we just don't really talk about it.

same here... and i really do believe that it's the things that children watch that make them grow up thinking that animals are like people... i call it the farthing wood affect lol...

Well I read all of the farthing woord books and still watch disney films now with my daughter but I was brought up to apprieciate the countryside and the need for vermin control etc.

I found the BBC3 series Kill it, Cook it, Eat it very interesting a similar series about hunting, coursing etc may help to give people that proper facts about the why and hows but i'm guessing its too controversial.

What makes me laugh is that these people so adverse to hunting will sit and watch ultimate fighting etc on the like of youtube without batting an eyelid!

i know im new to this forum and hunting but my views have always been the same probs why i have started getting into hunting, if u carnt bite the bullet and kill an animal then then you shouldnt be eating meat end off.
