Wish he’d taken that clown Micah Richards with him too. Regards his political views, and whether he should be allowed to voice them as an employee of an ‘impartial’ public funded broadcaster, I think there’s an element that comes with the job and territory and you’ll always be called out by those who disagree, and not by those that agree with your position.., so exercising restraint is probably the best way to go. He has said some controversial stuff of late.., the nazi Germany stuff on UK immigration I didn’t agree with.., calling out Israel for the systematic murder of thousands of women and children I take my hat off to him for speaking out. These are my views, others will see it different. One thing’s for sure, he’s part of the MOTD furniture and it’ll certainly be different with him not there.
