WataWalloper 4,832
Water it down for second coat for sure but between the heat and the timber jist soaking it up first coat I’d say that sounds about right mate. I Fcuking hate them sprayers tho

PanzerSchokolade 0 Posted Tuesday at 12:19 Report Share Posted Tuesday at 12:19 I switched from a hand pump to a cheap electric sprayer last year, and the paint use dropped a fair bit because the spray was more even. Have you already made the jump? If not, you might also try thinning the paint slightly or adjusting the nozzle to cut down on overspray.
fireman 11,623 Posted yesterday at 10:21 Report Share Posted yesterday at 10:21 I used a sprayer to spray a set of stables and 8 field shelters,a few big sheds and a bit of fencing and i 1/3 watered the paint down ( ronseal black barn paint) and it was brilliant. Saved days and days of labour and ok had to put a few coats on but the time and effort it saved was a no brainer, can't remember the name of the sprayer but german sounding and was bright yellow and black and did cost £150 but well worth it and when this cold is over i'll be borrowing to spray my own fencing at home with it..
