inan I didnt think I had hit so close to home when I said you were part of the blame it on the poachers/illegal coursing brigade but I obviously did because your hell bent on trying to get your own back without much luck I might add! You should have been a bit more concerned with these inaccuracies some time ago when you were trying to blame it all on the poachers and illegal coursing. Allright Joe last post on this,I haven,t spat my dummy out ,because I wasn,t annoyed by your posts,one or two were a bit comical,{unintentionally I might add],but mildly entertaining. In my posts ,I made it plain that I never condemned anyone ,and that the lads who slipped out for a run were by and large tolerated,It was the organised gangs that pushed farmers into requesting a "poacher watch " from the police in the Lincs area,that is common knowledge.When you have lost as much coursing permission as the clubs have,through the activities of a minority,you might have a slightly different take on things,thats one of the reasons why the Forley a great event ,met its demise,ask the organisers,if you doubt me,I wont name them ,or you will say Im name dropping! As to my post I thought it was relevant ,purely because the police ,by their asking the public to provide them with info,endorsed it,s falsehoods,they didnt write it ,just hi-jacked it from and anti,and added their name to it,do you get it now?Your references to my age don,t concern me as I have zero respect for you,your opinion doesnt matter to me. I fail to see where I have been guilty of bragging on here ,I never said I had a world beater of a dog ,or preban took hundreds of hares ,in fact Ive never had a world beater,and time is running out for me now.Magwitch came on this topic ,and I would suppose he thought he would inject some humour in to it,maybe lighten things up,he and I are rabbiting mates ,we shoot and ferret together,he is normally in those forums,and is a good poster,cetainly a 100% better than you ,but then who isnt? I mean what have you ever contributed? For the record I dont require back up,I thought Id made that plain to you in a PM you seem a little fixated on me ,do you think that is healthy in a young man? Hi Mush The man in question is getting on in years,,in his prime he posted a challenge to anyone with a long dog for a best of three match ,I say this to emphasise he is a serious coursing man.Apparently the armed response team came out ,tried to do him for coursing,,they were then told they were rabbiting ,and with the ferrets and guns this would have been hard to dispute ,probably,and I am only surmising this ,they realised they had no case for hare coursing ,so they then told him it was illegal to course rabbits,maybe as they were "armed response " they wern,t too clued up on the hunting act ,any way the upshot was that he accepted a caution,which in my opinion was unwise ,but there we are.Iv,e allways been led to beleive that the police offer the alternative of a caution ,when they don,t think they have enough evidence to make a case stick,Im also under the impression that a caution goes on your record,some one will correct me if Im wrong Im sure.Inan.

Yes ,I expect he was a bit rattled at the time,maybe someone saw them with guns and phoned the plod ,but it all seems so over the top to me,one day someone legally minding their own business is going to be confronted by these swat team heroes,panic and get blown a way,I accept that they have a difficult job to do ,especially with terrorism but a man in his 70s ,on permission ,with ferrets and dogs is hardly a threat,the man was getting on when I matched him,proper gent he was on the day.

Happens all the time, some one got shot dead down here carrying an air rifle, as he didn't drop it quick enough for the cops.
