cluelite batterys.?

Recommended Posts

I' ve never managed to flatten a 12 v 7 a/h battery in one night with my cluelight (12v 50/ 5W bulb). I like this size of battery because it fits nicely in big jacket pockets, so you don' t need to carry it in a belt pack or one of those shoulder strap things that swing around.

If you haven' t done it already, you might consider cutting out the fuses, cigar lighter socket and all that crap and wiring it direct. Doing so means better reliability and more light for longer.

I' d stick with the Deben type trickle charger because I think they are better for the long term life of the battery. The charger shown can also charge the little 6v battery for air rifle lamp and it didn' t cost a lot.

i agree with caravan monster , your better sticking to the 50w bulb in a clue light , and 12v 7 amp batrie. although i dont agree puting it in your pocket , as it makes your jaket all lobsided.

i use a bum bag for my 7 amp
