FOXHUNTER 5,020 Posted December 20, 2023 Report Share Posted December 20, 2023 Out last night with my mate to try a couple of spots as wont get out now until probably Boxing day. First farm spotted a dog fox following a vixen but just couldn't get on to them but on walking back to the motor spotted another laid up in a grass field out of the wind. Put a sneak on it using a big mound in the field as cover , ended up 10 yards off this fox staring at me for a good 10 seconds before it took off down the field then proceeded to sit down , it was quickly bowled over by my mate , a nice dog fox. Off to 2nd place and after calling for 30 minutes I switched to hare call and immediately had a fox come right up to the caller then backed off and sat down.
