Ken's Deputy 4,456
Off the top of my head, mate? Yes. Strictly, he is I don't pretend to know how it all breaks down, under that Linnaeus, or what ever it is, Taxoma thing. Frogs, to me, are Ranidae and Hylidae, etc. typically. Toads are Bufo. But, yeah, it seems they Do all come together under some all encompassing taxonomic label of " Frogs ". A rather school; kiddish arguement might be; " Ah, but Frogs are smooth and slippery. Toads are dry and rough." Okay. Hold that thought as I show ye my African Bullfrog (Pyxicephallus). Fukker's got skin like a blunt cheese grater. And, whilst I've never tried to handle it? I suspect it's not slippery either. And there we are.
