hi there mate i have used one of them a nice good gun for the money not used for hunting though

 

 

well im looking for one to hunt with, the one i have now is naff so thought i would see whats on the market, the tx200 hw95/97 have been recommended to me but they are a little pricy, think ill be looking at second hand :thumbs:

hi paddy.t that gun isn't powerful enough to hunt with its only 6ftlb

 

as you said look at the hw95 good guns or even in the bsa range look at the bsa supersport full power 12ftlbs

 

remember need 10.5 - 12ftlb of muzzel energy to hunt to have a clean kill anything else it would just injur what you shot at

yeah thats what i thought when it said 6ftlb, one i have not is about 11ftlb.

 

ill look into them and see what i can come up with :gunsmilie: cheers all

I would take up "AIRGUNNER" (last post) up on his offer of a BSA Lightning as the Crossman Nightstalker is only capable of producing 7FT LB tops, I know it seems tempting owning a gun that is classed as semi-automatic complete with a x12 shot mag that is powered via a air-source bottle and retails brand new for £150 quid, but even Crossman describe the "Nightstalker" as "The Ultimate Back Garden Gun" this leads me to think of paper targets and tin cans and not rabbits or the like. I am sure you can buy a good 2nd hand springer for around the same price that will do the job nicely.

cheers coney, ill have a look around, was in a gun shop the other day and was a decent bsa for £100

ill go do some groveling and with a little look ill be out with a new gun at the weekend :gunsmilie: maybe wait untill my birthday to get a pcp or something. thanks again been grate help :drink:
