RESULT YESTERDAY

Had a walk out yesterday morning to check a few setts,but nowt was at home so i went home,while i was reading the paper a friend phoned asked if i would pick some wood up for him so i went and collected it and told him i would meet him at his allotment to drop it of,I,d put my old dog in the truck with me so while i was waiting i thought id have a walk round the back of the allotments to see if he was interested in a sett i know behind there then i could just nip home and get my young bitch,but before i knew it he was off and straight down before i could catch him he was his game straight away so i had to go and get my shovel,when i got back it was a nightmare to find him without a locator on especially with the wind blowing a gale,eventually i heard some bumping so i started to dig once through the brambles then ash with old bottles and stuff[old tip] i hit sand and i was flying i broke through at around five foot,but it was the middle of the tube and they moved,i gave him time to settle again then found him again so dug again through the same stuff it wasnt as deep at around four foot and eventually i got him out a bit sore but not too bad let,i let the game go as there wasnt no on with me to deal with it,nothing exciting but a result from an old dog of twelve who just loves doing his job.
