hairyface 211 Posted January 27, 2008 Report Share Posted January 27, 2008 i see the pic was taken on a filling station forecourt, going by the fact its a 4.2 im assuming it,ll be a thirsty bitch, especially when she,s hammering down country roads and fields, my hilux is only doing 20 mpg with greenway macho,s on, in the same style of driving, but fortunately i make my own bio so it works out at £7.50 a tank full instead of £65 at the pump, good hunting boys,cheers HF £7.50 for a full tank mate how do you make the bio fuel could do with some myself nice lamping motor pal but dont wipe everything out local for us boys on foot firstly get yerself a ETRUK100, from etruk.com about £1495 + vat, fill it with used veg oil, mix some caustic in with some methanol to make methoxide then add the methoxide to yer vegoil mix it for 1hr and let it settle for 8hrs so the glycerine drops out, then neutralise it with some vinegar then wash the oil and then dry it, then what your left with is homemade biodiesel, sound complicated but easy once youve done a few batches, if the oils for free you can make it fotr as little as 12p a litre Quote Link to post Share on other sites
