jukel123 9,771
Just read 8.3 million people in the UK were prescribed anti depressants last year. WTF? A sign something is really wrong or big pharma making big money? Edited July 9, 2022 by jukel123
pesky1972 5,685
My prediction is that it’ll get much, much worse in the next couple of decades. Youngsters (in general) now won’t have the standard of living their parents had, but are conditioned to believe they can have it all…, so have a huge disappointment round the corner. A generation of kids coming up who have poor social skills, no resilience, and a belief that if anyone is mean to them, or if they ‘feel offended’ in any way, then the world should be made to apologise. Any study of human nature in the millennia we’ve inhabited this planet will tell you that can’t be sustained. I think high bridges will have lines of 20 & 30 something year old virgin men, utterly traumatised by life, queuing up like lemmings to end it all.., and women too poor to have the vast plastic surgery to make them look exactly the same as the latest Trollope influencer to hit a billion Insta followers, or distraught beyond any reason that all the surgery they have had, hasn’t been able to keep them looking forever like they’re in their early twenties, and will feel so ashamed that there’ll be no other option than to take all their prescription anti-depressants in a oner, before opening their veins on the bathroom floor. Very dark times ahead I fear…, but of course, I could be wrong. 2 1
