My Foxes ~ And Absent Friends

Recommended Posts

Very transitiony spell, at the moment. Letting the horses into the compound for a couple of hours a night. Like them to munch the vegetations back for me.

Just happened to stand up, having decided I'd better put them away again. Looked out the window and, was that? Is it ....?

Yep. Little dark spot, trundling down the track towards us was a fox! Little bugger must have thought; " Hmm. About time he'll be putting those horses away and feeding me. Better get down there. "

I might have called out, " Won't be long, Fox fox! ", as I ushered the hairy ones inside. Gave them their supper. Checked all was well. Came out and there's fukking Fox fox! Dear little thing had come down the side track, toward the stable. She was sitting there, waiting for me!

Saw me and went back up to her feeding spot. When I got up the compound, I glanced out to see her snaffling some bird food I'd put out, for their breakfast. Figured she was hungry.

Got her grub together and went back out there. There she was, waiting, of course. It's the way she fukking Sits there though, that cracks me up! Tiny little thing. Small Brown Dog's the same size.

She sits like that too. Turning to peer out across the land. Completely comfortable with my presence. Politely waiting as I spread her food in the right way. It's all very proper :D

Thought of Keithy ..... Tu pias, mush.
