Just notice one of my pups has two rear dewclaws. The other 4 pups haven't got them. I've just goggled it an says some dogs do. I'm wondering if its common in lakeland a know none of my Russels have had this problem before. A will get them taken off for near future problems. I've always taken my lurcher pups off so not to worry if I've got to get them done. Bit of cut & ,heal on afterwards

a dog of mine had two rear dewclaws as well only one in the litter of ten to have them i had them removed at the vets

Very strange only just noticed when a was clipping the nails down from them scratching the mother when feeding. When a googled it a didn't like the image that it showed looked strange. It was saying that some sit flush with the foot an some don't. An the ones that don't don't look right on the back feet. A just wanted to know if its common in lakelands
