I have a 120 amp battery for my electric outboard. So it's pretty heavy duty. It's the old age decision between slow or fast charge but what's the goldilocks charger in terms of output amperage? walshie 2,804 Posted February 8, 2022 Report Share Posted February 8, 2022 I use a Ring automatic charger. Fast charge is 8A and slow is 3a but the charger decides how much to charge and switches off when it's not needed. You can get a 12A one too. Quote Link to post
