unusual types of working dogs

thought this would be intresting, what kinds of dogs do ye use that are uncommon or that your mates laugh at. as ye know i have a westie and shes game, fast and got a great nose as well as a good mooching\ferreting partner and a digger. so lets see what the rest of ye are using that some think are unusual. mods please dont move this but id like to hear about running dogs too. stringer.......

i know a chap uses a big old german shep for pullin foxes

the first lurcher i ever reared from a pup was out of a jack russell bitch to a 28 inch irish terreir/deerhound dog i had ,the pup turned out black an tan and about 24 ats he was mad as a hatter and took all game over a 9 year life.unfortunatly he died .

I use three kelpies for ferreting and bushing. They're not exactly fast but they make up for it in enthusiasm.
