Just been in this morning to feed and check and she's sat tight on her third egg. I've swapped it for a dummy the third one an she's back on the nest. I'm in two minds to leave all eggs under her but then again this will be her first time at sitting. So a might just leave one real egg under her and put the rest under a feeder. I've just put a new nest pan in the canarys that I'm posting about and the males showing interest taking material upto the nest an the hens is picking bits up. All is well the cock bird is still feeding the young so fingers crossed they start building and she lays her first egg by end of next week 2 Quote Link to post Share on other sites
